To illustrate a normal distribution, shake and roll a pair of dice 30 times and graph the results. It is more likely for someone to roll a six, seven, or eight than a two or 12, so these numbers should come out more often. To create the graph use Excel. Make a grid. Label the x-axis with the numbers 2 through 12. Label the y-axis with the numbers 1 through 10. Fill in the appropriate cell for each role of the dice. Do you results resembled a normal distribution? Why or why not?
Please, I need the grid set up properly in Excell (2003 or 2007). Please upload Excel spreadsheet with information and questions answered as above and also listed on attached Word file. I must submit an Excel document, not a Word file. I will use this problem to do additional exercises, as a guide.
Part 5: Project Quality Management
The Video Game Delivery Project team is working hard to ensure that the new systems meeets expectations. The team has a detailed prject scope statement, schedule, and so on, but as the prject manager, you want to make sure you’ll satisfy key stakeholders, especially Lori, the project sponsor. Lori is also very sensitive to customer needs, so you have to make sure the new system is stable and easy to use. You know Lori wants the system to provide the most important capab ilitities within a year so the company can start making money from this new venture. You also know that you might need to make some tradeoffs in terms of cost and scope to meet the schedule goal.
Task
1. Develop a list of quality standards or requirements related to meeting the stakeholder expectations described above, especially for customers. Also provide a brief description of each requirement. For example, a requirement might be that the new system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and that any normal 12 year old should be able to use it.
2. You have decided to expand the testing program to observe several potential customers using early versions of the system to get their feedback. Write a two page paper describing how this testing will work. Try to find infomration on how real companies get customer feedback such as this.
3. After analyzing results of early customer testing of the new system, you decide to create a Pareto diagram to easily see what problems or suggestions users reported. First, creat a spreadsheet in Excel, using the data in the table below. List the most frequently described problems or suggestions first. Add a column called “% of Total” and another one called “Cumulative %”. Then enter formulas to calculate thos items. Nest, use the Line-Column on 2 Axis customer type chart so your resulting chart looks similar to the one in Figure 8-6.
