·       First of all give a brief summary of the book – what it is about but keep this to only a couple of pages.  The next 3-5 pages should be your observation and analysis.  Answer questions like (but not exclusively) – What did you think of this book as a ‘coaching resource’?  Did the author talk about helpful strategies for the coach or provide tips and techniques you could use?  Was the book a combination of individual coaching and organizational change and what did you think about that system?  How does it compare to topics talked about in class?  Did the book communicate or remain abstract and difficult to understand?   The point is be a thinker and offer what you think about what you read – good, bad, so-so and why you evaluated things that way.
