Select two pieces of writing by two of your favorite authors.

Review the selections to determine how the writers follow or do not follow traditional grammar rules. You will use this information to complete the Week Four individual assignment, Writing and Grammar.

Write a 750- to 1,050-word paper on writing and grammar.

Address the following points:

• Do the two writers you selected always follow traditional grammar rules? What effect does this choice have on the content?
• As a writer, how do you decide which grammar rules to follow in which circumstances?
• In what ways does technology help or hinder your abilities as a writer? Create a list, using parallel structure, of the ways that technology helps or hinders your writing.

Include sentences that demonstrate a variety of conjunctions using correct punctuation.

Use quotation marks at least once.

Format the paper consistent with APA or MLA guidelines set by your instructor in the course syllabus.
